Under The Cesspool Act of 2007, all cesspools located within the 200 foot zones listed below need to be replaced.

  • Within 200 feet of the inland edge of all shoreline features bordering tidal water areas
  • Within 200 feet of all public wells
  • Within 200 feet of a water body with an intake for drinking water supply

In addition to the above scenario, all cesspools that are failed or service a non-residential facility or multi-family dwelling, also need to be replaced.

This home located on Poppasquash Road in Bristol, RI fell into the 200 foot zones scenario, resulting in us installing a septic system for the home.

What our clients have to say

Ken and I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how thankful we are for choosing NCD as our builder. You have earned our greatest respect from the onset, and then as a bonus, we made wonderful friends along the way!

We received so much more than just a house in this process. You followed our thoughts and understood our ideas perfectly. There was never a day that we did not communicate in some way, and you have always been a step ahead of us.

This is our fourth home we've owned and no other builder we've worked with has ever given us an experience like NCD. We would recommend NCD without reservation to our friends and family, or anyone who asks about our building process. We are truly and forever grateful to you NCD. Thank you for job well done!
